Mental performance coaching is just another facet of training. Just like your climber trains their fingers, core, and power endurance, they need a systematic way to train their brain. If your athlete is crushing during practice but freezing ISO, rushing through flash format, or completely shutting down after blowing a redpoint attempt, they don’t need more physical training. They need a mental toolkit to bridge the gap between their physical potential and their actual execution.

The goal isn’t to "erase" pressure; it’s to change how your athlete relates to it. Young competitors often get trapped in binary thinking—viewing a comp as either a perfect podium finish or a total failure. I teach climbers how to navigate what I call the "shades of grey" in performance. We take concepts like negative social comparison or isolation anxiety—things almost every climber experiences as harmful—and learn how to leverage them into a competitive edge. It’s about teaching them how to hold the good with the bad so they can confidently win the moment.

My sweet spot is competitive youth athletes navigating the USA Climbing circuit, typically ranging from ages 11 to 18. The mental tools, visualizations, and frameworks I use are specifically designed to be age-appropriate, practical, and highly relevant to developing minds dealing with unique high-tier athletic pressure.

We collaborate whenever possible! Your team coach is the expert on your child’s physical training, technique, and beta execution. My job is to make sure your athlete's brain doesn't get in the way of all that hard work.
Think of it this way: if a team coach gives an athlete the perfect strategy for a bouldering wall or a lead route, but the athlete is too blinded by isolation anxiety or negative social comparison to focus, they can't execute that physical beta. I teach your climber the emotional regulation and focus routines required to actually listen to, process, and trust their team coach's instructions when they step under the stadium lights.

It entirely comes down to the environment your athlete thrives in:
Private 1-on-1 Coaching is a fully customized, deeply individualized mentorship. It’s built for athletes dealing with specific challenges, postseason pressure, or those who want private, targeted refinement of their routines.
CAMPFIRE is our small-group cohort program. It brings youth competitors from different regions together in a dynamic huddle. There is immense power in normalizing the struggle—nothing shatters a kid’s imposter syndrome faster than hearing a national-level peer say, "I get terrified in iso, too." It covers our core mental routines in a team-style setting at an accessible entry point.

All coaching sessions and CAMPFIRE cohorts happen 100% remotely via Zoom. Comp climbers are chronically busy balancing heavy training schedules, school, and travel. Doing this digitally allows your athlete to log in from home or a hotel room on the road without adding logistical stress to your family calendar. Sessions are fast, interactive, and actionable—never clinical or boring.
-
We use an automated scheduling system called Acuity to give busy parents complete control. When you invest in a multi-session package, you get a unique redemption code emailed to you. You can pop onto the site whenever your schedule clears, choose a date and time that works for your family, and book on autopilot. The system automatically tracks your remaining balance so you never have to count sessions or cross-reference calendars manually.

Life happens! You can cancel or reschedule any upcoming private session directly through your email confirmation link up to 24 hours before the session starts, completely hassle-free.
